Hey Everyone,
I hope your week is off to a good start! I've got exciting news...with just four days left, No Spell Lasts Forever #2 has reached 100 backers! Yay! A HUGE thank you to all of you for your support, it means so much to me!
We're actually at 101 backers at the moment, which means we're just FOUR backers away from unlocking the next backer bonus -- all 24 pages of Eze's gorgeous inks! So if you'd like to get that added to your digital goodies at no extra cost, it would be awesome if you'd consider sharing the campaign on social media to help us reach the 105-backer benchmark.
I wanted to let you know where everything is at with the comic, too. All the art is done, and I finished the lettering last week. This week I'll be creating the digital version of the comic as well as the PDFs to send to the printer. And I'm putting together the Digital Writer's Aschan, too. So once the campaign ends, I'll get the digital goodies sent your way shortly and the order placed with the printer ASAP.
I also wanted to share another exciting comic that's live on Kickstarter right now. It's The Polar Pardox #1-4, By Frank Martin and Antonio Mastria.

Hey Everyone,
I hope you're all having an awesome Friday! Just a quick heads up to let you know there's just ONE WEEK left in the campaign for No Spell Lasts Forever #2! So if you'd like to add any extra add-ons, now is the time!
Eze's art is finished, and I just wrapped up the lettering at the end of last week, so as soon as the campaign ends, I'll get everything sent off to the printer!
Also, we're closing in on unlocking the next backer bonus, which is a digital copy of all 24 pages of Eze's gorgeous inks! It gives you a very cool look at the visual progression of the entire issue. So if that's something that you'd like to get, feel free to share the campaign on social media and help us bring in a few more backers.
I also wanted to share a couple of other very cool campaigns live on Kicksteter. First up is the anthology Cohorts.
From Oneshi Press, it features 18 short comics from 30 diverse creators around the world, all about team-ups. It's 140 pages of awesome stories about epic mechs, unlicensed detectives, superheroes, friends of convenience, gangsters, mortal frenemies, tricksters, ex-lovers, hopeful dates, unlikely cross-species pals, work wives, mythical behemoths, wilderness wonders, chosen family, packs of dogs, dance-floor besties, and more!
Next up is Ruxy Vampire #1, by Kurt Zauer, Mog Park, Bruna Costa, and LetterSquids.
Here's a little bit about it:
A supernatural thriller about Ruxandra Tepes, the granddaughter of Vlad Dracula himself. Ruxy is a Cel Rau vampire, a unique and tough breed that's a little closer to humanity. Cel Rau are born, not made. These differences make them hated by other vampires and prestigious trophies to vampire hunters. Hunted and hounded, Ruxy and her brother Marku escaped by embracing the light of the sun in late 1880s London. For a Cel Rau, sunlight means being turned to stone... perhaps to never live again.

I hope your Tuesday is off to a good start! Just a quick heads up to let you know about a couple of exciting things on the No Spell Lasts Forever front.
First of all, we've added another exciting add-on!
It's a digital copy of Chiaroscuro, the eight-page comic I wrote with art by Jersain Cast and colors by Aimée Hawley. It's about a museum director forced to re-examine her thoughts on the larger role of art when faced with the violence of her dystopian society. While Jersain's art is very different from Eze's, it also has some of the dark, shadowy aesthetics of noir, so if you're enjoying the art of No Spell, you'll definitely be into Jersain's gorgeous art, too! Here's a preview of the first page:
I also wanted to let you know that the digital version of No Spell Lasts Forever #1 is now included in the digital indie bundle that's part of the deluxe $10 tier for Blazing Blade of Frankenstein 1-3, an awesome series for fantasy fans. Sword and sorcery meets gothic horror, with Mary Shelley's monster cast as a wandering barbarian. This issue: Frankenstein vs. Cthulhu! The comic is written by Clay Adams, who's such a talented creator, with beautiful art by Mick Beyers and colors by Julio Rojas. So if you want to show your interest in No Spell and have the chance to read another awesome fantasy comic, check it out!
And lastly, I wanted to share another exciting comic that's live on Kickstarter! It's Teddy Scares, by Joe DiDomenico and Jim Hankins.
Here's a little about it:
